Can I get a detailed procedure on connecting to the GCX from within vs. I’m using csdbgsetup.exe. I had this working in the past and I can no longer get it to connect. I’m confused as to why. Should I connect directly to the computer via a crossover?

You can connect via USB ActiveSync or Ethernet. For more information, please refer to topics 562 and 2201. The developers getting started guide is on topic 609. It's a bit outdated but you can still find some relevant information there.
